How does the SMARTDiode hair removal work?
During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat which gently heats the target hair follicles causing terminal damage directly to the hairs chromophores to prevent future growth.
How long does the treatment take?
The treatment is quick and effective but length of time will depend on treatment areas. The treatment applicator is swept back and forth across the designated area in a quick motion allowing the low light energy pulse into to skin.
Does it hurt?
SMARTDiode hair removal is gentle and comfortable to your skin. During treatment you may experience a gentle warming of the skin, however our cooling applicator ensures comfort at all times.
How many treatments will I need?
The recommended amount of treatments is 6-8 depending on the individual and their hair growth / type. It was so important to complete all treatments for maximum results.
