The difference being that microdermabrasion removes dead skin cells using an exfoliating technique, also uses slight suction to help unclog pores.
Minus the suction aspect, dermaplaning also removes the vellus hair also known as “peach fuzz”. Making this treatment extra popular with models and actresses in that it helps their make up go on flawlessly. The removal of you vellus hair does not upset the hair cycle, the root or type of hair. Therefore, vellus hair will grow back as vellus hair.
